Face Forward is a team of licensed estheticians and makeup artists with specialties in bridal makeup, event makeup, luxury airbrush spray tans, and facials. Since 2018, we’ve been fortunate enough to travel throughout New England, meet wonderful women, and be part of their most precious moments. From prom to engagements, weddings, and baby showers, our team sets the standard for high-quality, long-lasting makeup.
At our core, we believe in helping women feel empowered, beautiful, confident and radiant—and it all starts with your skincare. We aren’t your typical makeup artists who show up on the day of your event to do your makeup. We work with you 6-8 months in advance of your special occasion to curate a custom skin care regimen that consists of in-house facials and at-home skincare routines. Our goal is to ensure your skin is hydrated, glowing, and camera ready.

Meet the Ladies of Face Forward
Emily mcnulty
Emily, Founder | Licensed Makeup Artist & Esthetician
Emily has been in the beauty and makeup industry since the young age of 19. After graduating from the International Institute of Cosmetology with her license in makeup and esthetics, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in the bridal industry. Her success has not gone unnoticed, Emily has won a “Best of Hartford” award for makeup along with multiple “Couple’s Choice” awards on The Knot and Wedding Wire.
“It is such an honor to be invited and trusted to do someone's makeup for the most special and intimate day of their lives. I build such strong relationships with my brides and appreciate when I see them in the years following for life milestones such as baby showers, maternity photos, kids graduations, etc. Seeing the look on my clients' faces during the big reveal of their bridal makeup is priceless. In my free time, I am 99% of the time with my dog, Maci, who we say is the "face" of Face Forward. I also love traveling and hope to elope one day in Italy or Greece!”

Jenna, Licensed Makeup & Spray Tan Artist
Since 2008, Jenna has been perfecting the craft and science of spray tanning. A true Jersey gal, she’s always loved the look of a golden tan and the perfect makeup look. Continually educating herself with the latest innovations in sunless tanning, Jenna has kept up with the evolving industry and has a vast knowledge of solutions, products, and all things tanning. Jenna has completed 3 certifications in the last 15 years, including Norvell’s Masters Certification.
“I’ve always had a passion for makeup and knew I wanted to combine it with the artistry of spray tanning. I was trained in bridal and event makeup in New York City by Dinair. I love getting to make women feel their best and give them a boost of confidence when they’re in my chair. As a mom of a 4 year old, I know how much it can mean for a woman to get a little glow up and I love getting to be a part of it!”
